No doubt that the Chinese would likely have contingency plans to intervene in North Korea.
There seems to be a perceived weakness in the Obama administration by the Chinese and the Russians and they're testing our military readiness, (especially in light of the looming March 1rst $500 billion in defense budget cuts)...

The Chinese have increased their military budget by a little over 11%...
