Whether or not an individual, male or female is capable of being independent or is dependent, has nothing to do with trying to emancipate a culture from chains. We should make every effort to at a minimum lend support to those trapped in it who want out.
Indoctrination and or fear of the culture you live in is how people stay trapped. Same type of mental abuse keeps women from reporting rape. If you are told as a young girl it is your fault for what you wear or where you go, you are taking the blame for something that solely rests on the abuser.
Sure women grow up in it but it was once ok to own blacks, it wasn't right back then and it isn't right now. If a culture refuses to allow anyone, male or female to decide for themselves how their lives go, then that is a culture that deserves criticism.
