I don't know that he did know that.
The problem with that specific prophecy is that it's something anybody can fulfill, themself. It's not an act of God, or anything special. It's not even the tallest building in existence.
So, it's not something I would attribute to a prophecy coming true: more that people have tried to fulfill it, to make it seem legitimate.
I can actually take a closer look, and it says
