Well I for one don't want to see a repeat of that in this thread, but I do want to know: Catfish, if your beliefs on the bible are subjective, how do you come to your conclusion (please state your stance clearly) on this abortion matter and how are liberals supposed to negotiate a resolution with Christians?
And for the record, no one can prove you aren't a Christian. That's preposterous. It isn't preposterous, however, to ask you how you gauge your subjectivity.
I also have a question for everyone, is there a consensus whatsoever on at what point a pregnancy should not be aborted, or are you pro choice to the point of aborting a pregnancy at any stage?

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
