The percentage of the U.S. that is Muslims is only .8% Since Sociopathy is more or less evenly distributed amongst populations, if this crime was caused by the suspects being sociopaths who just wanted to kill people, the chance of those sociopaths being Muslim is also .8%. You then have to keep in mind there were in fact that this was done by two people. So in fact the chance that both of them were just out to cause random mayhem decreases even more than that.

To be fair, and not take any sides in this argument, teams of criminals are not at all uncommon among the criminal population. All you need is one person who is impressionable, desperate or frightened and one sociopath or psychopath. Given that most people can be manipulated, well, you know where there is going.

To be fair... most criminals are normal people. Situations are really the impacter here, whether that be from poverty or grief or anger: many people have the capability of being a criminal, to a wide degree of extents.

We can certainly see that the one who got into the shootout was afraid. Want to know what was dilating his pupils.

At any rate, I hate to be quick to jump to conclusions on this. The second suspect was, and is, an American. He will be interrogated. Answers will be forthcoming, if he lives.

I'm betting an eighth of Wonderwoman Og on this being a religiously-motivated attack. To be fair, it's the only real presumption one can come to that has any previously-known information to correlate to it. Maybe it is psychopathy, though. Or maybe these guys just woke up one morning and decided they really, really hated Bostonians who ran a lot.

If the two were related... I'd rather put my money on something personal than upon something so ridiculous. Still wouldn't bet on something I have little knowledge of.

I'm not presuming to say I know for sure, and it is a pretty flimsy bit of connection, but the stereotype about muslims and bombings and terrorism...well, it has basis in reality, is all I'm trying to say, here, and until we know more it's the most likely explanation.

No... that stereotype has a basis in recent media Given that there was not a suicide bombing: I'm having trouble seeing any connection whatsoever.
