If you move to a village and not notice this huge building with a bell next to your future property you are just as silly as those people filing lawsuits against airports when the noise of airplanes coming over disturb your bbq. Those things were there when you bought the place.
I can sympathize with those people that bought a place because it is nice and quiet and then some time later a noise polluter comes along. But you can't tell me that when you inspect a house you do not notice an airplane coming over every 10 minutes or a church bell ringing every half our, or a mosque that calls to prayer 6 times a day.
