Unless you have some studies to back up your assertion that parents who keep the results of unwanted pregnancies continue to hate their children, I would expect the opposite to be true.

And you seem to assume that adoption is necessarily a better option. Counter-Example: David "Son of Sam" Berkowitz' final tipping point was his finding out that he was adopted.

Well, this is just factually untrue. You cannot justify your actions simply by your "feelings". If I feel that I have the right to kill someone, I'm still going to get arrested for doing it. My feelings on the issue count for nothing. There are plenty of actions we can do with our bodies that are judged to be illegal, or can result in an illegal consequence, and we cannot escape responsibility by claiming we "felt" that we could do them anyway.

And yet, abortion remains legal. Your talk about feelings cannot work.
