stardust Wrote:Bit of a long story Craveman - its been a long journey away from the RCC! Wasn't too sure for a long time where I was going with the religion stuff, but the more I found out and read, the more atheist I have become. Guess that somehow they get that stuff into you when you are too young to know any better, and its hard to shake it off!
Superstition, mere superstition!
I know how you feel stardust. I was raised a Christian child and was quite involved in Christianity for a long time. I even played guitar for our church band. My inner sceptic got the better of me and I started asking questions and very shortly after turned atheist.
Is wasn't easy and I'm still struggling with it all. Christianity is like a bad case of herpes, it keeps on coming back! So I still find myself doubting my decision(s) but I think that will fade in future. In the mean time I will keep on searching and asking questions...
Hopefully you can find your answers on this forum Enjoy your stay!
