Wrong again. Sexual orientation isn't a geeky interest, and people get bullied over that.

If people get bullied, so what? life is tough and people are/can be unkind.
Also, I disagree with your assessment of bullying. I think humans to some extent like to dominate others, though this is a function of personality to a large part.

Morality is ultimately determined by the majority.
Our compassionate morals may be overtuned in 50 years or so. who knows? as morality is transient, who cares if it is? Most on this forum will be elderly if/when that occurs, so we wouldn't have times to experience any "horrors" lol..
