I had a similar issue when I was looking for hats. This was my solution:

This isn't me, but the hat is pretty much exactly the one I have and it's been working great. I forget the name of it, but just type in "Fidel hat" into Google and you'll find it.

It's not too different from a regular baseball cap so you don't stick out like a sore thumb.
