RE: "Paleo-Diet" Trashed!

Well, most food is processed in one way or another (and each of those things I mentioned met resistance - and still do-). You've simply drawn a line where there may not be room for one.
For example, to you "cardboard food" seems meh - but it exists as a way to deliver food at a very low price point. That's important.
Frozen food exists as a way to preserve perishables - again, important.
Fast food, I don't understand the hate. Nobody goes into a McDonalds thinking "oh boy this is gonna make me healthy as an oxe!" It's comfort food, nothing wrong with that.
The thing that I would stress about "diets of yesteryear" is that too much emphasis seems to be given on -what they ate- (often incorrect, and to be honest most people today and yesterday have eaten whatever they could get their hands on), when the emphasis should probably be on -what they did-. A burger and some fries ain't gettin you any closer to the grave if you manage to move around during the day.
