Even if that was the sole qualification for sociopathy (not saying it isn't) that still does not equate to all subjectivists being sociopaths. Lack of empathy is not required to think morality is subjective. I lack empathy towards a lot of things most people would be empathetic towards, and that probably goes with all moral subjectivists, but I (and probably most other moral subjectivists) feel it from time to time still.

So, we've established again that all sociopaths are moral subjectivists but not all moral subjectivists are sociopaths. Have a good day.

it's not a rational inquiry into whether morals are actually objective or not, but just to rationalise the personal feelings and world view of some lol..

So youre saying theres no morality even though that monkey in the cage with you would rather starve for weeks rather than take food in exchange for pusshing a button that zaps you with electricity? Its a real experiment (sadly). I guess we can and do choose immoral acts as humans but that doesn't mean that it isn't immoral to do so.

My position is thus:

- joe subjectivist doesn't give a shit about things and think anything goes
- joe subjectivist then devises moral subjectivism as a theory to rationalise his thinking

As said, anybody who understands human motivation will come to the same conclusion lol..
