I'm all for the Police taking action against people whose tweets are actually threatening or harassing someone, I.e. If he'd tweeted that to Lee Rigby's wife or mother, but this was on his own twitter and he wasn't implying he was going to go out and behead anyone. He did nothing wrong. Unlike the hundreds of actual threatening replies he got, most of which are a fuckload more offensive. I guess they're allowed to though, because they're not brown with a muslim-sounding name so the Police don't care.
Funnily enough, I reported some threatening comments on Facebook right after the murder. A couple of which were calling for people to go out and bomb or burn down Mosques in London or set fire to random Muslims in the street, but the Police told me that wasn't "threatening" and took it no further. Then this happened. Now I feel like going back to the Police to be like "I FUCKING TOLD YOU!" If someone had been killed I'd be going to the press with that shit. They're too busy looking for Muslims to arrest for saying mildly poor-taste comments to bother to address actual threats and acts of terror from the EDL. Fucking FUCK the Police!
