I wish people would learn how GM crops are actually crafted.
Selection and cross-breeding are non-invasive ways of manipulating the resultant plant through natural methods whereas the GM process uses radiation to cause small holes in the cell membranes and then have bacterium insert genetic code into the cells.
We have seen some truly wonderful things from GM crops, and some people have benefited from the changes. The real problems are with the legislation around the crops that allow for patenting and then when a strong wind blows some of the GM pollen into your field you are then forced to pay for your next years seeds because the terminator gene technology from the Monsanto crop causes all your crops to yield non-viable seed. These types of things would be akin to someone placing beers into your fridge, then making you pay for them against your will.
