I hate how reporters misuse statistics to prove a point. The 12 male students in the AP class only include males, whereas the percents listed include both genders. We also do not know how many AP students the teacher has; therefore, we don't know if 12 is a lot or not. We also don't know the percentage of Latinos and African Americans that make up the school.
