There was also a fruit fly experiment done where one group was separated from the first, and over a long period of time, the descendants of the second group were reintroduced to the first. They could no longer interbreed, just like what happens when you try to breed a dog with a cat.

I just watched that tonight, they still call it a fox and say it's still of the specie Canine, what was done would have not occurred in nature, and it was accomplished by a higher brain. The foxes that were breed to be more passive would not have survived in the wild, that's how selection for the fittest in an environment works, not to change the species but to make it stronger so it can survive.
