You have it backwards. I don't like them because they suck.

No I don't. I agree that YOU think they suck, but opinions are like assholes. Yet they have 22 hits and are still selling albums 40 years later while you who have managed to outsell them and are shutting them up as we speak.

You did outsell them right? Ooops. Thank you so much for your "lecture" but I think ABBA and fans like me have little to worry about against your arguments.

As for the rest of it, no: I said, they are a generic, formulaic pop band that never once demonstrated any sort of complex musicality or deep, out-of-the-box lyrics. These are facts. Whether or not you like what they have produced, is up to you. So, they don't suck because I don't like them. I don't like them because, according to what they've done in the music industry, they suck.

You couldn't accept criticism of them. Of course you can't. Don't worry, I don't blame you. When you're a passionate fan of something or you're passionate about something, the opposition rarely phases you. (cue back my comparison of fans of music to followers of religion)
