Atheism is a lack of belief in god (I wonder how many times this has been typed on this forum)
So if you have no belief in god this doesn't mean you automatically gain the knowledge of when the first inorganic life form became organic or that you even believe inorganic life forms became organic. You could have no opinion on the matter at all and still be an atheist.

It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to.
