lol I just remembered that my parents neighbour didn`t want to pay or the removal of a tree and attempted to cut it down himself, it fell onto a a powermast.
In the end his bill included paying the working hours for the men from the electric company who repaired the damage, paying for the hours which people had to spend without electricity and paying for the removal of the tree.
Not sure how much it is but certainly more than having the tree removed in the first place.
Anyway, I am almoust always not amused by vandalism since once your own property was once vandalised by some imature morons that`s how you are.
