If God could preserve the Golden Plates that were buried in upstate New York for over 1000 years for his new prophet, Joseph Smith Jr. to find them, then it only makes sense that other such artifacts still exist! The Ark of the Covenant is out there, as well as Noah's Ark. The Urim and Thummim were also in Joseph's Possession, though there's no telling that it was the same one Moses and Aaron had...as there were multiples! The Tomb of Jesus Christ can be visited even to this day, so of course the cross had to be somewhere! God, in his infinite wisdom, preserved the wood from rotting over these past 2000 years, and this is proof of his greatness and glory!
