And likewise, you didn't bother to read our rebuttals. However, of the group here, only one set of us bothered to actually research beyond the hokey miracle claim, and it wasn't you, Saintly.

If you did, you would know there were 4 Jesuits that survived, and lived full, healthy lives afterwards...while no one within several miles of the blast lasted more than 15 years.

So, when I posted a color picture of an elderly man who literally survived both of the blasts, and the name of another who was within the blast radius too... I guess you just missed them? Or are you just lying here? Which is it, liar or idiot?

Also, they were 8 blocks from ground zero. Nothing survived that close.

Except for the Shinto arch that still stands to this day. Did you get an aneurysm, having to be this intentionally dishonest/blind?

There were no other catholics or otherwise in or around the church at the time of the blast. Just the priests that had just finished praying!

So, what you're saying is that all the other catholics in the city at the time were incinerated or died slow wasting deaths of radiation poisoning, since according to you they were obviously excluded from this miracle, or I'm sure you would have mentioned them. So... it's clearly an effective god you worship, saving four people while leaving countless others to their deaths.

You didn't provide any proof. You provided an argument from ignorance: "These people lived through that! I can't think of a better way, and therefore GAWD!" This is not effective argumentation, especially considering the very real problems with your story that you're just trying to ignore.

Jesus gave us understanding to the purpose and ways to a full life. And all we need do is open that door. Who are we to demand proof from God? And who can think like God?

Who are we to demand proof of god? Who else could?

You might be content with being a credulous git with a presupposition, but any of us with a shred of intellectual honesty and wit need a little more.

If there is an independent spiritual evolution to be acheived [in this life] to a greater purpose, this is actually a great way for God to sort us out. Because in the scheme of things, this life is an eye-blink compared to all eternity!

So, what you're saying is that there was absolutely no purpose behind god's preserving "miracle" that you mentioned here? Cool.

And what we say, and do will be accounted for. Jesus said, "I will not judge you... You will judge yourselves."

So, no matter what you "think" you believe... that statement proves that you are in some inner conflict about denying God.

Okay, so first of all, what in the actual fuck? What a complete non sequitur. Second, where do you get off ascribing beliefs to anyone else? From whence do you draw the sheer, overpowering nerve to do that?

If nothing else, this is the lasting testament to the weakness of your position: you can't compete in the marketplace of ideas here, can't provide a shred of real proof or evidence, and so having realized that the lies and half-truths of your miracles claims won't fly, you resort to the child's tactic: reinterpreting the motives of those opposite you so that they're just out to get you. It's not that you're wrong, those guys are just idiots. You're always right!
