I fail to understand how you can believe in something that you admit has no verifiable evidence for it.
You even state elsewhere that it can't have evidence for it!
My position is this.
People are prone to believe all sorts of stupid things. (scientologists I'm looking at you).
The only way to cut out prejudices, wishful thinking and cultural bias is with verifiable evidence.
Without it you just have an unsupported idea that can be dismissed as at best unproven but probably just wrong.
You are an intelligent man who seems to be purposefully clinging onto rather silly ideas for no reason other than you would quite like them to be true.
You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.
