The interesting thing about that evolutionary argument is that accepting it kind of puts a bunch of holes in the creation account that the writer is clearly angling toward claiming is true. Maybe faith is hardwired, but that doesn't make it true, and you know you're in trouble when accepting a central premise of your argument requires invalidating your larger premise.

Also, our spines are technically hardwired for hunched over quadrupedal movement, but I doubt the writer would be a proponent of that. What we've been evolved for isn't the same thing as what's healthy for us.
