My explaination for this lies within the rising standards of living and education within the Turkish community and to a certain extent the reasons also lie within the behavior of the political parties.
I considere this good news because in my opinion traditional voting blocks are unhealhy for a democracy.

They only vote for the leftist parties because the others are "Christian-democrats". Not because they really do care about the policies.
