As my father-in-law used to say, "even a blind pig is bound to pick up an acorn now and then." You can't always be wrong.
Anyway, it's all bullshit anyway.

Quote:the writers of Matthew and Luke were compelled to invent a setting for the delivery of the sermon that would be consistent with their story. Each did so within the purview of his own theology. In Matthew 5:1 Jesus goes up the mountain to deliver the sermon in the tradition of Moses on Mt. Sinai. The writer of Luke, on the other hand, has Jesus come down the mountain (6:17) to show him to be a true proletarian - a man of the people.
Blessed are the cheesemakers.
The reason I have to keep careful count of the times we are in agreement is every time it comes up I have to do a lot of research to ensure I am not blaspheming God some How. Because my first reaction is if you and I are on the same side then I have over stepped the line of scrimmage at some point and I am currently offsides... But I guess your pappy was right even a blind squirrel will find a nut every now and again.
