That strikes me as utterly nonsensical.
If he is going to torture me for all eternity because I couldn't properly decipher his idiotic rules as listed in his sloppily-written book, then you'd better believe I have the right to judge him. If god is offering the ultimate reward and the ultimate punishment to his creation, he owes it to us to reveal himself and his intentions with utmost clarity and not in the bizarre cloak-and-dagger manner that his followers seem to accept as sufficient. That by itself should be a clear indicator that he doesn't exist, or that he is as cruel and malevolent as he is powerful.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
