The whole thing just emphasizes the difference between omniscience and the claim of omniscience, to me. Christians claim that their god is all knowing, but how would they ever know? They don't know what's in the mind of god any more than atheists do. Hell, even a being proclaiming its own omniscience could never be sure of it, because if it didn't know something and was unaware that such a thing existed, then it would never know the inaccuracy its claim.
An intellectually honest being could never actually claim to be omniscient, because it could never be sure if that claim was correct, and therefore there's already something it doesn't know. Bam.
