It does poke a major hole in those creationist arguments that the earth was built "just right" for life to exist, doesn't it? You know, those lame arguments that Earth is the only planet with an atmosphere in which we can breathe, it's just the right distance from the sun, just the right temperature, has just the right gravity, etc.
