Actually, we say reproduce because they're making another one of the species, not some larger meta-copying. But I'm glad that you're reduced to silly linguistic tricks when you can't rebut the actual content of my reply; it definitely will be apparent to anyone reading how weak your position is.

I think other people understand my point just fine, but if you don't, here's an analogy. Suppose Fred buys all the materials and tools to build a house for a needy family, and Greg actually builds the house. By your reasoning, Greg should get all the credit. In reality, Fred will be given credit too.
