I just finished all of the orginal series today. (The improved version) My fav out of that was season1 episode 22 'space seed' it was the KAHN! Episode.
Then followed by the wrath of Kahn.
What I did not know till last night that the undiscovered country is tied season 3 episode 75 'the way to Eden.' Even in episode 75 Spock knows a lot about mybock. Which was pretty cool.
One other cool thing I remember the jerry McGuire line 'you complete me,' was originally a line from Adonis episode 31.
Also what was the deal with Scottie 's hair in season 3? It was parted, then combed back then permed at some point?
I really like next gen. I loved the cross over episodes where one of the original crew was found In A transporter buffer, or turned up for a suprise inspection, or was being smuggled into Romulus, or being met up with in the nexus.
Fav episode of all time was when the DS9ers when back into time aboard the enterprise and served with Kirk. I would have stroked out if the next gen crew made the journey instead.
I loved all of the encarnations of ST while they were on. Some have replay value while other series do not. My fav out of all of them was enterprise. I wish they would have let that one go a little longer. It was just starting to get good and they pulled the plug.
All of that said my fav scifi series of all time? Firefly! Why? Cause they can take my love, take my land, take me where I can not stand, I don't care I'm still free they can take my God from me!
You know since this restart and the mentioning of the enterprise's 5 year mission maybe they could restart the series as well. They could tie the series into the movies or just follow the orginal time line and finish out the rest of the orginal 5 year mission (pick up where the 1968 series left off.) and just have two different versions run along side each other. kinda like the dark knight and batman, the brave and the bold.
