However, nothing, and I mean nothing compares to Flash Gordon - the movie with the Queen soundtrack. You don't know the meaning of the word camp till you've seen that.
TOS and movies 1 and 2 were the only parts of the entire franchise in which not everyone has both been both neutered and rendered complacently stupid.

No surprise TNG is my favorite series.
I chose Picard as my avatar because of the humanistic values of the Star Trek universe. Also I am bald, so it's sort of truth-in-advertising.
The words captain Humpty Dumpty comes to mind.

It's not the strong woman in charge in Voyager that ruins it. It's the fact that the rest of her crew all behave as though they have very little dicks that makes the show unwatchable.
