This was also exposed by the CIA whistle blower Susan Lindauer who, in the following video (starting from around 00:33:05), admitted that the government knew about the attack at least months before the day of the actual event, and that they had a "long-term event's knowledge." And shortly after saying that, she says that Mohammed Atta and the other terrorists behind the 9/11 were actually CIA assets of the US government. They were trained by the CIA and supervised by the CIA.
And the first reaction from you is to scream conspiracy?
This was simply a failure by the administration to grasp the potential threat.
It is well known that pre 9/11 people at various agencies investigating potential terror threats were frustrated about the lack of taking potential threats serious.
This has nothing to do with a conspiracy, but with the failures of an administration to take a threat serious.

No.
Such drills are constantly conducted. Just a few months before the London bomings, English authorities conducted training excercises on potential suicide bomings in London. Training is a substancial part of any police or special service agency. In fact, the behavioral pettern which would actualy make me suspicious about a potential conspiracy would be if those agencies would not be doing any training at all, since in that case they would not be prepared for the attack. Which leads to the point that training for a highjacking wouldnt fit into a consopiracy since then the forces would be prepared.
Such exercises constantly take place and when they overlap with real events that is merely a coincidence.
