Training is a substancial part of any police or special service agency. In fact, the behavioral pettern which would actualy make me suspicious about a potential conspiracy would be if those agencies would not be doing any training at all, since in that case they would not be prepared for the attack. Which leads to the point that training for a highjacking wouldnt fit into a consopiracy since then the forces would be prepared.
Such exercises constantly take place and when they overlap with real events that is merely a coincidence.
And if the forces were prepared, then that gives more support to the possibility that they knew or anticipated an attack of a similar style. Otherwise, why would they be preparing for something like this especially at a time so close to the 9/11? Yeah, maybe it was just a coincidence as you said, but that seems more unlikely to me.
However, I will have to do some more research to find out how frequently the NORAD hijacking drills were being conducted and when they started.
So I cannot respond to your other comments right now.
