Trustworthy is referring to an actual owned person (see slave, in this case particularly a slave for the purpose of sexual enjoyment on the part of the owner), which is not necessarily the same as marriage (although marriage in some places is essentially slavery, if considering only that one 'partner' is the legal property of the other)... and there is no legal position for such a case in australia, see: http://www.milism.net/contract.htm or a number of other resources. This is not to suggest that there are not countries where a person can become a slave... but unless recognized by a national body (as most would not appear to, considering that many think that slavery has been abolished): the slave would be immediately freed whilst under the jurisdiction of the 'free' state.
So whilst a person might "own" another... they cannot do so legally so far as I personally know of... though that is not to suggest that he could not travel (or order from) a country where such slaves are legal (and who's slaves australia recognizes).
