It's ayt-ul Qurban here, so we have bought amongst us students a goat to slaughter.
Did the same thing last year too. And the year before that, and the year before that one too.

In some places, it's a hell of a party... the annual slaughter of the goat.

Not much of a party, its actually a religious thing, but normally students are not required to fulfill that, since we have not enough wealth to buy and slaughter one. So we scrammed a bit of cash together and bought a goat, since we are not going to be with out families during Bayram(holiday) we might aswell have bayram here amongst ourselves.
