Let me play devils advocate for a minute, if you don't mind Adrian,
Research does show that repeated exposure to porn is not only addictive (lessening effective living behaviours), but also can effectively reduce real life sexual arousal through desensitisation.

I think that depends on the porn.

I can watch very violent images on the TV any day of the week, but I cant see things that I can legally do with my wife. Where is the sense in that.

Graphic sensitive lovemaking between consenting adults would not, I think be damaging to view.

But violent non-consential damaging fucking could give people prone to that behaviour a nudge in the wrong direction.

I know it is old hat now, but... I feel deeply obliged... To point out that porn is bad for you, and we should come to terms with what it does to our sexuality and relationships with each other. Isn't this really getting old? Seriously though, there are few things worse than porn. It's worse than TV and video games put together! It is about objectification, and desensitization, and dominance, and some of the grossness already gone over previously in this thread.

We should have quiet, polite sex when no one is looking, and then not discuss it afterward...
