I haven't read your examples, LP, as focusing these things is problematic just yet. (my eyes) But I think there is going to naturally be a difference between what one group sees as being in the set of problems (say theists) and the other group that has a different list (say atheists). Saying that their list contains wrong items and yours contains right items is to willingly surrender to the distorting effects of cognitive bias. There will be things right in both, and things wrong in both, but focusing on trying to focus on justifying yours and delegitimizing the others will only prevent you from making useful distinctions about both sets, as actual utility has been given a back seat to partisan shared value. The Klu Klux Klan doesn't buy many costumes from Missie Blackman, even though her sewing is better, her suits more comfortable, and longer lasting. Ultimately, when you start by trying to judge the sets of items as lists, belonging to one group or the other, the truth is lost, and your appeal reduces to the rather vapid, "I think you'd agree with me if only you'd agree with me." Well, no shit, Einstein.
