Well, you've seen that I usually do botanicals. I don't like doing people for the most part because they always want to pose themselves or don't trust me to take good photos. I like getting spontaneous shots, and for that, comic-cons and Ren-Faires are FANTASTIC. People are ready to be photographed, and they're happy and enjoying things that get them off.
I had been in a photography rut for a while and inanimate objects weren't cutting it, despite trying desperately to do more abstract things. That Jayne-hat photo just sparked something and BOOM, I feel it again. I haven't had the time to go out, but the need to photograph things is back.
