Today, Congress and the media seem to be little more than clowns by comparison.
News has become entertainment. To a large extent, so has politics.
I watch a lot of football, and there are really not many differences between watching sports and watching politics. Punditry, especially, is the same no matter the subject, and in both sports and politics, the pundits and the journalists seem to often wear the same underwear.
