Ehhh, Lily, given things we've discussed, I wouldn't say those with mental illnesses could/should/would regard them as something along the lines of a common cold. ;p [Those curious: That's up to her to divulge if she so desires, otherwise, I am full of shush]
Some could be considered mild. Heck, many people never even realize their issues cause them any grief. Granted, they tend to still be suffering either way, but sometimes, it doesn't really affect their lives much to the point of markedly increasing the difficulty of their lives.
I'm still on the fence as to whether or not mental illness should be called an illness, or a disease, or a malady, or what have you.
All I know is the shit stinks no matter what it's called.
