My serious advice would be to buy or borrow very nice clothes and get a nice haircut of whatever length matches your style, but homeless hobo is not a good style to choose. Perfect your grooming skills. Girls do go crazy over a sharp dressed man.
To get her mind's attention, ask here what she feels about things. It's a cheap ploy, but until you get a better personality cultivated, having her play her own heart drum is as good as any, plus you will learn about her.
Secondly, care about things from her point of view. Love things that she loves. Try very hard to understand her.
Never forget that she doesn't want to be around anyone who "gives her the creeps" so be sure that she is at ease during all of the conversations, and don't "confront" her during the conversations. Talk to her from the side so she is at ease, and don't make too much eye contact unless it is going really well and you think a kiss might be in order.
