Why not simply take God up on His offer on His terms using His time frame?
Why would the God of creation be bound to your time frame? What hold or even what reason would He meet you on your terms? We are told to Humble ourselves before God, and allow Him to lift you up. To put it another way, Moses, Abraham, David, Adam, Daniel, Matthew, Paul, John, Peter. did any of these men have the power to summon God as you are trying to?
Are you better/more special than any of them?
Also be careful because God is not the only one who speaks in dreams.
Actually all these people had very little faith in God despite him trying again and again to prove himself! So to be honest my reaction is no worse than his disciples except he tried with them.
I've already pointed out your trying to summon God on demand using your own time frames, and conditions. None of the disciples did this. They were faithful to what Christ offered them. Christ offers us the Holy Spirit, and tells us how to obtain Him. But, you don't want what Christ offers, you want signs and wonders to order. Again what if God does not want support your version of Himself?
