That's a question of personal preference, not one of existence.
As you say that in no way testifies to the reality of my God.
See, that seems weird to me, because the first answer I would have to a question like that, if I was religious, is that it's true. Hell, that's the only reason I would need to believe in a religion, because whether it makes me feel good or not, believing in reality is the most important thing. Otherwise you're just indulging in delusions or fantasy.
