Perhaps not, but if people want their society to be knowledgeable, science is a big part of it. E.g. I don't like math. I have hard time comprehending certain aspects of mathematics, but do I think that it was unfair that it was "forced" upon me? No. And once again, no one is forcing anyone to "believe" it, in schools you get the education to (perhaps) comprehend the matter at hand, but what you do with the knowledge is up to you. And funny that a Muslima should be concerned with forcing believes upon others..

When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura
