Wouldn't have to be a scientist of course - anyone pronounced brain dead that returns would be fine.
So until that happens best to assume no magic.

That's not science that's fantasy.
Heisenberg uncertainty principle and all that.
Maybe one day they could clone a brain from a single cell - but that wouldn't retain any of the memories or experiences of the original. It wouldn't be you any more than a twin is.
Might they one day find a way to back-up memories and experiences to restore them later to another brain - biological or machine? Dunno - maybe.
Does that get us any closer to heaven/god etc?
