Btw, east asian woman here. In my experience, asian men raised in asia (ok it's a big place, but east asia in general) are more likely to expect me to be submissive and a good cook and other things like that. It's just our culture, we have a pretty set idea of how life and marriage is supposed to be and girls would look for guys who can afford to support the family and allow them to be stay at home housewives. Anyway, with one child policy in China, couplings have to be productive, so they are really picky about who they're with and if it makes a functioning family.
