My first computer.

The Nike analog computer was first deployed in 1954 and remained in service until the mid 80's. It consisted of 76 op amps each using 2.5 tube type amplifiers and I think it had about a dozen motor driven potentiometers. It could add or subtract 2 or more variables, determine rate of change (of distance giving velocity), multiply or divide a variable by a constant and approximate a function to 1% using the op amps. The slower motor driven potentiometers were required to multiply or divide a variable by a variable, store a variable for a long time, and generate a precision non-linear function.
Linky
I trained to work on these things in 79-80 then worked on them until I switched to SATCOM in 83.
