I have hydrocephalus which is an excessive amount of spinal fluid that has built up on my brain. The spinal fluid damaged all the nerves in my eyes it's irreparable unfortunately.
I have hydro as well. Shunted right side VP, last revised (thankfully) 1988. Secondary to spina bifida. Never knew about the blindness connection, but it makes sense.
