@OP just say that you see evidence of god everyday in your life and that he has helped you through decisions and other such shit. Pretty sure whatever you write they'll lap it up. Shame that you feel as though you can't 'come out' to your folks. As for the imbecile theists offering their views, makes me fucking laugh that they can even speak on this subject when so many people live in fear of being ostracised just for not believing. Regardless of whether you think your religion is right or wrong, at least have some empathy with the fact this guy can't be truthful in this situation. I'm sure if there was a god he'd understand the reasons and judge accordingly, but as for you fuckers it's not your place.
