Nobody can give you advice Childofreason, because none of us know your circumstances. I'd like to think that they love you enough that they'd want you to be genuine. However parents are also very, very human and its entirely possible that your "coming out" would force them to face truths they are not strong enough to face just now. I've had experience of lying to my parents to spare them pain, and then of them finding out who and what i really was and I wish I'd been better at the former so none of us had to face the latter.
As strange as it may sound, lieing might just be the strongest thing you can do. You take on the burden of their credulity. If you are strong enough to do that, then good on you.
